Tuberculosis ratio in Pakistan
TB is a very dangerous disease that causes death. It damages the lungs to halt the breath. It is caused by a bacterium. It is one of the top ten disease cases of death worldwide. In the same way, Pakistan is ranked fifth among twenty-two other countries affected by TB. India is affected twenty-seven percent, China is ranked world third largest country that has the most TB cases, Indonesia has nine percent cases, Philippines with eight percent, Pakistan has six percent, Nigeria has four percent, Bangladesh has four percent and South Africa has three percent TB cases of the world.
This is a list of some countries which have the highest cases reported by the World Health Organization (WHO).
In Pakistan 0.5 million new cases were reported recently, among which sixty percent reported in Punjab. The data analysis showed that the government released only Rs. 1,062.3 million only in 2015 33.67% for TB programs. In a nutshell, there is no TB project to help for the treatments of patients. The patients of TB need help and their rights as humans and also as citizens of this country. The government should not neglect these types of serious diseases.
