Vaccination: October and November are peak times for outbreaks like these especially due to weather transition getting a Flu shot is highly effective in prevention.

Respiratory Hygiene: When you sneeze or cough use tissue paper and discard it properly also wash hands properly.
Hand Hygiene: When you or someone in the vicinity sneezes wash your hands properly for 20 seconds. Wash after touching something that could be potentially contaminated.
Stay Isolated When Sick: If you catch a cold or have symptoms like flu stay at home to prevent the spread of the virus.
Avoid Contact with Infected Individuals: Avoid close contact with someone having flu as it increases your risk of getting flu.
