Awaran is a district in the south of Balochistan province of Pakistan which is considered the poorest district in the province. It was created as a separate district in November 1992 and it has three tehsils Awaran, Jhao, and Mashkay.
However, the transportation system which is the first need of any school but it isn’t found in any school of Awaran district which is the most annoying for students as well as for teachers. Even though there are Government school drivers who are taking salaries but without doing any job just due to lack of facilities of transportation. Ahead, many students and teachers come from far away, and especially in winter, it’s too difficult for them to come to school on foot from the open fields and the fields which are rough and stony. As a result, children are more likely to get sick but in any case, the Students have to take their classes and the teachers have to do their job.
The Government of Balochistan is hereby requested to look upon the situation of schools of district Awaran.
