Unemployment refers to a circumstance in which a person who is looking for a job is unable to find work. And the people of Pakistan are unquestionably in the grip of the worst kind of unemployment.
Furthermore, a country’s unemployment rate shows the proportion of people in the labor force who are unemployed.
According to the labor force survey conducted in 2017-18, the unemployment rate was predicted to be 9.56 percent. Unemployed educated people, particularly jobless graduates, are a phenomenon in Pakistan.
The federal and provincial administrations in Pakistan have not paid attention to their difficulties. And hundreds of engineers are out of work.
Furthermore, the unemployment rate in Pakistan was around 4.45 percent in 2020, a modest increase from 4.15 percent the previous year. Pakistan’s current employment status is 4.40, with 6170.00 employed people and a population of 221.00 million. Second, inflation is at an all-time high, making it impossible for Pakistanis to function.
In 2020, the inflation rate was 10.74 percent higher than the previous year. As a result, the government should take accountability for its people, and Pakistanis should be offered opportunities.
