Tourist sites in Pakistan
Pakistan is bestowed with multiple picturesque landscapes which presents a unique soft power of the country. It housed many lush green meadows beneath high snow-capped peaks.
The prestigious National Geographic has appreciated Pakistan’s deep beauty and it’s hospitable residents. It has all four seasons. Balochistan is famous for it is dry barren carving rocks. It has a long history. Punjab has is very unique province very famous for its lush green. Northern areas are famous for its steep mountain clouds clinging to them. There are 7 tourist hotspots you need to visit.
1. Ziarat
Ziarat is a district and a famous hill station located in the north of Balochistan. It is a famous holiday resort. The name Ziarat means Shrine. There is a shrine of Baba Kharwar 8 KM away from Ziarat town. A huge number of tourists come to visit this shrine. Quaid-e- Azam Residency also known as Ziarat Residency is also located in Ziarat. The father of the nation spent his last days of life here. It is declared a national monument and a heritage site and has great architectural importance. It is also famous for its agricultural produce, like apples and cherries and Juniper forests. In winter it receives heavy snowfall and people from different parts of the country visit and enjoys the snowfall.
2.Hunza valley
The Hunza valley is in Gilgit-Baltistan. The Hunza valley is situated to the North West of the Hunza river. Aliabad is the main town while Baltit is a popular tourist destination because of the spectacular scenery of surrounding mountains like Hunza Peak, Passu Peak, and Diran peak.
3. Neelum valley
Neelum valley is a 200 KM long bow-shaped thickly forested region in Azad Kashmir. It is named after the river Neelum, which flows through the length of the valley. Apart from it, Pattika fish farm and restaurant, Kutton, Jagran valley and Tao Batt Neelum village are the sites which attract a large number of tourists around the world. The valley is situated in the North-East of Muzaffarabad, running parallel to Kaghan valley. The two valleys are only separated by snow-covered peaks.
4. Taxila
Taxila is a town and an important archaeological site in Rawalpindi District of Punjab, Pakistan. Taxila has situated about 32 KM North-West of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, just off the famous Grand Trunk road. It is the headquarters of Taxila Tehsil in Rawalpindi district.
5. Malam Jabba
Malam Jabba is a hill station in the Karakoram mountain range nearly 40 KM from Saidu Sharif in Swat valley. It is 314 KM from Islamabad. Malam Jabba is home to the only Ski resort in Pakistan.
6.Murree
Murree is an attractive place for tourists. It is located in Pir Panjal Range, some 60 KM North East of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Patriata is a famous place also called new Murree is on a distance of 15KM from Murree hills. It is a great resort and has tall trees with beautiful lush green hills. Patriata is famous for its chair-lift which provides a beautiful birds-eye view of the valley. Apart from it, Mall road, Nathia Gali and Ayubia attract a large number of tourists every year.
7. Kaghan Valley
The Kaghan valley is an alpine climate valley in Mansehra District of the KPK. The valley is a popular tourist destination for Pakistanis and foreigners. The sites for tourists attraction in this area are lake Saiful Muluk hill walking and river rafting.
