The 3 Mistakes of My Life (Review)
‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’ is an uplifting book based on the narrative of three best friends. It all comes down to business, cricket, and religion. It opens our eyes to the slightest faults in our lives that we had never considered as life-destroying mistakes.
Moreover, the book’s author, Chetan Bhagat, is recognized as one of India’s writers who inspires every reader with his word inspirations. He is the best-selling author of two blockbuster books, “Five Point Someone (2004)” and “One Night @the Call Center (2005).”
In 2008, the New York Times dubbed the author “India’s best-selling English-language novelist.”
His third novel, “The Three Mistakes of My Life,” is 257 pages long read.
It is the story of three friends Ishaan, Govind, and Omi. The three boys were proud of the Indian team and wanted to build a sports shop for the next generation so that they could play well as well as do a business and earn a lot of money. They opened the shop near a temple and named it Team India Cricket Shop. Omi’s Mama owned the temple. They were making enough money from the shop. They wanted the shop to make a lot of money for them, so they kept notebooks and pencils for schoolchildren.
Every child came to the temple with their parents and visited their shop, where they purchased balls, bats, and other items for playing. The lads considered taking math and cricket lessons. Govind taught the youngsters math, and Ishaan taught them how to play cricket. Life has different things planned for these friends as they are unaware of what is to come next will change their lives forever.
It is important to read this insightful book since it opens our eyes and explains how horrible things might happen when we do not think clearly before acting in life. It means that the more you want to do something in life, the more you have to think about it and find hundreds of methods to do it, and you have to think of what you’re doing.
Govind loved Vidya without considering his business or his best buddy Ishaan, and how they were closed and focusing on their business, but they lost their friendship and business as a result of doing something without thinking about it.
It is my humble recommendation to any reader to read this book and acquire various means of achieving something, whether a business or anything else, beforehand, because this provides ways to go straight and achieve success in life.
