“Dunki,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal, is a highly anticipated Bollywood movie directed by the well-known Rajkumar Hirani. The film’s fundamental concept aligns with Hirani’s heartwarming tale of friendship and dreams, focusing on the real-world issue of illegal immigrants.
“Dunki” marks Shahrukh’s third film release in 2023, following the success of his previous blockbusters, “Pathaan” and “Jawan.”
Dunki Teaser Review
On Shah Rukh Khan’s 58th birthday, the film’s teaser today released on YouTube and social media, offering a quirky glimpse into the storyline and the movie’s main characters.
The teaser displays ordinary individuals from Punjab, India, aspiring to achieve their dreams by relocating to European nations. It shows that SRK’s four friends are eager to move abroad.
The teaser commences with the voice of Sonu Singham singing a melancholic melody about home, while SRK’s character Hardy journeys with five others dressed in black, crossing a desert and being targeted by a shooter.
The teaser then transitions to a lighter tone with some comedic scenes and the background of the main characters, also depicting an IELTS class conducted by Boman Irani.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the movie’s storyline. SRK’s character, named Hardy, pledges to assist his friends in reaching London by any means necessary. Some fans noted that SRK’s character goes in search of his four friends who embarked on the Dunki journey and got lost on the difficult route.
SRK had previously expressed that “Dunki” is a journey back home. It’s plausible that the main characters, who take the illegal route to Europe, realize that home is where they can lead their best life and desire to return.
