PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Physical education develops students’ competence and confidence to take part in a range of physical activities. It becomes a central part of their life both inside and outside the school.
A high-quality curriculum enables all the students to enjoy and succeed in many sorts of physical activities. Such as teaching, essential body management skill, promoting physical fitness as fun, teamwork, and many more. An example of a physical can be that gymnastic class that is part of a middle school. As a result of certain regular exercise unphysical activities, strength is gained in the muscles and bones of the body.
Mental strength assists one person to reduce the risk of two major diseases such as diabetes and heart attacks. It also helps in reducing cancer. Furthermore, the recent diseases in many parts of the country generally compel the students to learn more about the physical maintenance of their bodies.
The children have the primary responsibility of attending school and providing evidence that they are achieving the content standards of their given level. If the children get engaged in unhealthy activities such as poor eating habits, obtaining an insufficient amount of sleep, or other sedentary behaviors, they are less likely to experience developmentally appropriate learning.
The schools and the universities need physical education teachers to be certified in health courses. This pushes toward health education which is beginning at the intermediate level like anger management and self-esteem. Studies have shown that physical education helps to a greater level to improve academic achievement.
In 2007 articles researchers found a profound gain in education arts standardized testing test scores among students who had 56 hours of physical education in a year as compared to those who had 28 hours of physical education. This allows kids through sixth grade to be introduced to sports, fitness, and teamwork to be better prepared for middle and high school age.
Also in 1975, the United States House of Representatives voted to require school physical education for classes at both levels.
Similar actions need to be taken by the government of Pakistan to implement Physical Education compulsory at the middle and high school levels to boost learning rapidly.
