Key Highlights From Oscars 2024 Nominations
There are some notable first-time Oscar nominees for acting this year, including Emily Blunt, Sandra Hüller, Jeffrey Wright, Lily Gladstone, Cillian Murphy, Danielle Brooks, America Ferrera, Sterling K. Brown, Colman Domingo, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
There a quite a few major movies that received zero Oscar nominations for the 96th edition, including “Origin,” “Ferrari,” “Priscilla,” “Saltburn,” “The Killer,” “John Wick 4,” “Asteroid City,” “The Iron Claw,” “All Of Us Strangers,” “The Super Mario Bros Movie,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”
On the other hand, ‘Poor Things’ has received an impressive 11 Oscar nominations, while ‘Barbie’ got nominated for 8 Oscars.
