Dumb is one of such towns located in Hoshab at Kech district of Balochistan. The people residing here face numerous problems ranging from education, health care, infrastructure and other social issues. Sadly, the absence of basic facilities has created a lot of hurdles for the residents of Dumb. The people who could afford migration towards stable places and cities have left the town, but the one’s who coil not afford are living a miserable life. Particularly, the unavailability of schools has moulded many challenges for the students of Dumb.
Unfortunately, there is a primary school ruined completely by disastrous rains. Pupils are compelled to take classes open sky. There is a paucity of teachers in the school. They wake up in the early morning with a new hope to learn something new but return with gloomy faces. The abides of this shun place are living in hot water. There are scarcity health facilities which result in the death of babies and women. Lack of water is another major issue from which locals are suffering.
