Gresha is a large area in the district of Khuzdar. Unfortunately, the area’s literacy rate is the lowest in the district. Gresha has a large population but a scarcity of educational institutions.
Women, on the other hand, have no educational attainment because girls are not given the opportunity to read.
To be clear, there is only one girls high school and five primary schools in the entire area, all of which are devoid of basic necessities. Despite their lack of resources, they continue their studies in the hot sun, with unqualified teachers, and under a variety of other inconvenient circumstances to reach the tenth grade. Finally, their hopes and dreams come to an end here because they lack a college to continue their education.
Most importantly, we, the boys, are not aided, but we can be relocated to other cities to read. Where will girls go if they are separated from their families? They may be well settled in university hostels if they graduate from college first.
The problem is that they are unable to attend college, which is why they are unable to peruse their educational dreams. If their parents allow them to read, it is meaningless and a waste of time because after matriculation, they just have to sit at home.
Khuzdar ranks first in illiteracy due to a lack of educational institutions. Finally, residents of Gresha strongly urge the Balochistan government to establish a girls’ college.
