There is a novel book namely “great expectations” written by Charles Dickens who was born in 1812 in England and died in 1870 in Chatham Kent, England.
The book “Great Expectations” is based on the story of an orphan boy Pip who wanted to go beyond expectations to find love and education. He had his disentangled sister and her sweet husband to look after Pip.
Charles Dickens presents different characters who entered Pip’s life, taught him something, and made him suffer a lot. At this time, Pip loved a girl who was in love with another boy. After some time, the girl married that boy who shattered him.
Unfortunately, at the same time, his sister passed away which distracted Pip to a great extent. However, he kept his focus on his education in order to reach the level of the expectations he had set for himself. Finally, he was helped and went to London in order to get an education.
Furthermore, Pip was broken inside out, but he was never distracted from his expectations, which helped him grow faster. Later, when he came back to his land, he visited the place where he often went in childhood. The place where he found the girl he loved before. She has now become a widow. Pip married her and started living together for the rest of their life.
He always followed his expectations and eventually he reached his goals. And he felt great while reaching his destination. The book “Great Expectations” gives wings to fly towards expectations of your goals. Somebody who is seeking great expectations, he must read this optimistic book by Charles Dickens.
