Facilities of Schools in Balochistan
The ghost schools of Balochistan lack basic facilities and students deprived of fundamental educational rights. The absence of teachers in schools is another reason behind the downfall of educational environment in the province. On the other end, even if there are some teachers present in the schools, they don’t have a good command over the subject. They are not trained on how to teach.
Furthermore, government is responsible to facilitate the students with their basic needs such as books, water, desks, furnished classes, electricity and many more. On the other hand, many schools are named as “high schools,” but students claim that they neither have expert teachers nor anyone attends these classes. The students visit government and education department officials and highlight their issues, but they can just promise to function the schools. The education minister must take immediate action against those involved. The educational system of the province is weak as compared to other provinces. Most of the students go to other provinces for getting education, however, they can bear the expenses. Where should the child of a common citizen go for quality education?
Some of the teachers have assigned private teachers to take the classes and are busy in their side businesses. The students are compelled to qualify the exams by cheating because of the absence of teachers. Therefore, it is a sincere request to the government to give serious attention to Balochistan’s youth, facilitate the institutions so that access to quality education should be convenient for everyone.
