Exploitation of Teachers by Private Schools
In Pakistan, private schools are a fast-growing sector with the promise of anomalous profit and minimal check and balance. There is no compensation structure in place for private school teachers, who have become a prominent part of this society.
According to the salary statistics of private school teachers, the highest pay tier has barely ended at Rs 15000 to Rs18000, which is genuine exploitation of qualified staff in an inflationary economy who really are largely from middle-class backgrounds. When the doorbell rings for demanding bills that must be paid by the first week of the month, teachers, most of who are the sole breadwinners in the family, suffer immensely.
As a result, the authorities must adopt a proper wage structure for private school teachers in order to end their exploitation.
