Education in Balochistan in a Complete Mess
I’d want to raise the attention of relevant authorities to the issue of Balochistan’s education system. Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest province. It is well renowned for its natural resources, which include gold, silver, copper, gypsum, and many more.
However, the people of Balochistan remain deprived of fundamental essentials that every human being deserves. Water, power, food, and, most importantly, education are the essential necessities lacking.
The system of education in the Balochistan province is being neglected by the Pakistani government. Balochistan has over 125,000 schools, 7,000 of which need basic amenities such as shelters, rooms, seats, tables, books, etc.
Students’ lives are being squandered as a result of the poor education system and incompetence of teachers. Students in the Balochistan area face a variety of problems.
In the province, there are around 850 ghost schools, 2.5 million fraudulent student registrations, as well as no appropriate teacher documentation. Unfortunately, there are various issues that students face daily, such as libraries, lack of skilled teachers, and sound judgment to speak up against the public education system.
Another issue is cheating, which is prevalent in all of the province’s institutions. It is the primary cause that motivates one to contemplate wrongdoing and prevents somebody from working really hard.
The government must address the issue of education to give appropriate learning chances for Balochistan’s youth. The state and relevant authorities should take quick action to ensure that Baloch students have a promising future.
