“Earning is burning”: STORY
Once there lived a crappy family, a father and a mother with their roamer son who gallivanted all the time along with his friends and the boys of his town. His father did not have a government job, but he worked at different places to accomplish the daily life necessities and his son’s wishes and educate him as he could afford. On the other side, his mother sweated home to home as a housemaid. She managed her life and needs.
Unfortunately, the son didn’t know how harshly the money was being earned by his parents. He always spent a lot of money with his friends. And he did not focus on his studies well as he was a careless boy. Owing to his negligent activities his friends took benefits from him. He mostly shared the money with them and used his toys or other materials bought by his pitiable dad. His parents were joyless and doleful of his derelict exertion. Also, they visited many churches and cathedrals for the betterment of their son but no changes occurred to him.
Lastly, they met with a sage and the sage advised them that “don’t give him money or anything else, neither fee for study nor something for eating. Then he will be good otherwise he will be worse by each upcoming day. When he begins to carry his water, he will realize how valuable each drop is.” With time, parents applied this trick. While initiating work here and there all day under the sun full of sweat and determination utilizing his energy. Then he realized how reckless he was. From that time he knew the value of every single rupee which he collected himself. And after all, he apologized to his parents deeply with teary eyes.
That’s how it is said that “earning is burning”.When you don’t suffer through it and never indulge in a process, you are never likely to realize the worth or estimate the hardships and strictness of it.
