Devastating State of Female Education in Balochistan
It breaks my heart to mention that Balochistan is Pakistan’s most marginalized region, particularly the education of women is being highly neglected. Female education is critical to the growth and advancement of a country.
Female education has never been on the increase in Balochistan’s rural communities. One factor is that Balochistan’s education system has never advocated for female education.
Furthermore, the majority of households do not allow their daughters to attend school. They rely on their conservative views. Unfortunately, one of the major issues impeding females’ education is poverty.
Child marriages and pregnancies, for example, are key reasons for female education suppression, as are insufficient teachers, a lack of financing, and inadequate sanitation. Girls, on the other hand, are unable to develop the abilities required for leadership positions at the national and regional levels.
Finally, in the rare regions where females are able to get an education, they are subjected to persistent harassment. the dearth of well-trained educators, institutions have poor facilities, absence of water and bathrooms are also a key concern in those schools, and owing to this Balochistan’s female literacy is lesser than that of the other regions.
Educational sectors must concentrate on and provide resources for females’ educational establishments.
