Deplorable Sewerage Line System of Koshk
Deplorable Sewerage Line System of Koshk
Koshk is a small town of district Kech which is located in Turbat city and whose population is approximately 20,000 but it hurts me to state that the sewerage line is in miserable condition owing to the non-attention and non-interest of Municipal Corporation Turbat. Moreover, people in our locality are suffering a lot due to the faulty pipelines in the sewage system. The people of the area face unhygienic conditions in our area due to the sewage problem. People are not able to move around because of the stinking smell.
Furthermore, the garbage and polythene wastes are left and I see sewerage water on main roads with dipping pedestrian paths. We people feel disgusted and blame the government for it. Government should be blamed but it is not only responsible. I think sweepers are responsible for the blockade to earn money from the locality. Stagnant water on roads leads to malaria and other seasonal diseases. Owing to this, school children are stuck in-home and unable to go to school. The overall state of the sewerage and drainage condition of Koshk is highly deplorable and needs immediate attention from the related bodies for improving the situation in an effective manner.
Most Importantly, the students and the people of the area face difficulties while going to schools and mosques for offering prayers; in addition, the road has broken owing to wastewater.
The people of the area approached the Chief Officer of Municipal Corporation for resolving the issue but the Chief Officer has not taken any solid action yet.
I request the concerned authorities to take some dire and pragmatic measures for cleaning the sewerage line so that the people of the area may get safe from the malaria disease and stinking smells.
