It is well known that government employees are becoming more corrupt by the day. Every field is rife with unethical practices. The general public has no access to those in positions of power.
Wealthy people have sway over the power structure. A small task from the government requires money to burn. Corruption, on the other hand, is a social evil that causes unemployment and poverty while also undermining people’s rights.
Pakistan has been plagued by corruption for many years. Corruption pervades all social institutions in Pakistan. People are being appointed to jobs based on political considerations rather than merit, and the government appears to favor certain classes and families over others.
Because of this heinous corruption, many people become depressed and have begun to engage in illegal activities such as stealing and drug use.
As a famous saying goes “There is no more dangerous a threat to civilization than a government of incompetent, corrupt, or vile men.”
Finally, I urge the federal and provincial governments to take swift action against those involved in corruption, as well as to play an active role in raising awareness about the issues.
