As the human race evolves, humans make enormous blunders with them, and as a result of these missteps, climate change occurs, and healthy lifestyles are jeopardised. Because human activities emit a large amount of toxic gases, many people are being treated in hospitals for a variety of diseases caused by climate change.
The chemicals we use in our daily lives, such as GHGs, CO2, and others, are damaging our Ozone layer, creating skin problems, and putting our health and future life in jeopardy.
Climate change is hurting human health and well-being, and it has been stated by US and international health organisations that climate change is a serious public health concern.
Climate change exacerbates many prevalent ailments, diseases, and conditions by raising exposure to excessive temperatures, introducing new pathogenic microbes, and affecting air quality and water resources.
As the earth heats, oceans expand and sea levels rise, making floods and droughts more frequent and extreme, as well as heatwaves and hurricanes more severe. Certain populations, such as children, the elderly, the impoverished, and those with underlying medical conditions, are more vulnerable to the health effects of climate change.
Scientists predicted that if the number of trees chopped down increases, after a decade hot temperature would increase, glaciers will melt, and sea level will rise, and this habitual earth will be like Venus and Mercury.
Moreover Climate change has an impact on the social and environmental determinants of health, such as clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food, and adequate shelter.
Alarmingly, climate change is anticipated to cause approximately 250 000 more fatalities per year between 2030 and 2050 due to starvation, malaria, diarrhoea, and heat stress.
To conclude, if we want to continue living on this wonderful planet, we must not allow the warming of the earth – we must follow the RRR process and plant more trees rather than cutting them down.
