The film’s modern twist on the classic story, with a fan-favorite cast including Angourie Rice and Reneé Rapp, has seen box office acceptance despite mixed reactions from a large section of moviegoers.
‘Anyone But You’ Remains Strong
In the romcom category, Sony’s ‘Anyone But You’, starring Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney, remains strong at the box office. Grossing a solid $610k on the 4th Wednesday, the film has gone past a $58.2M gross in the US.
Seeing the mixed reactions of ‘Mean Girls’, Wll Gluck-directed romcom could continue to hold its ground at the domestic market.
