Acid attack
Acid attacks are usually occurring all over the world. An acid attack is known as a vitriol attack or vitriolage. It is a crime and a violent assault. The main cause of the acid attack is a rejection of marriage proposals, love stories, and other reactions of anger over the opposition.
It is unethical and immortal which is considered to be among the crimes worse than murder but despite the acid and crime Bill 2017 has yet to become a law.
Further, the most common types of acid used in these attacks are sulfuric and nitric acid. In the world, 596 acid attack cases were reported from 2017 to 2018. Pakistan, Nepal, and India have the highest acid attack cases. At first, a woman became a victim of acid in Bangladesh. The majority of victims of acid attacks are women. The government never takes action on such common issues and acids are present in every shop nowadays.
Lastly, I request the government to take immediate actions, to ban these deadly acids, make the acid and crime Bill 2017 to law and must confirm its implementation.
