It would not be incorrect to suggest that real-life experiences are associated with movies. Whatever the highlights are in one’s life, they can occur in any part of the world.
Similarly, I was completely inspired while watching one of Pakistan’s top hit drama serials, ‘Aakhir Kab Tak,’ which is written by Radain Shah and directed by Syed Ali Raza Usama.
”Aakhir kab tak” primary cast members are Srha Asghar as Fajar, Haroon Shahid as Saim, Ushna Shah as Noor, and Adeel Hussain as Nasir.
The drama “Aakhir kab tak” theme is the harrassment of girls as well as torturing them through blackmail.
Fajar is a very innocent and scared girl who is bullied by her evil cousin Basam. When they are apprehended, the responsibility is placed on Fajar’s character. Fajar, on the other hand, was less focused on his studies due to a quarrel between his parents at home.
The fearless sister of Fajar, Noor, then joined tution classes, but another storm was waiting for Fajar there. Sir Zafar, their Chemistry instructor, who appears to be quite sober yet is characterless in fact. When he learned of Fajar’s innocence, he sexually tormented her. Her mother forbade her from telling anyone because she was a girl.
She forcibly married her with a well-established man named Saim, who is a very cooperative and open-minded husband.
Fajar took a long time to face and accept reality. But, with the guidance and support of Saim, she was able to return to a happy life.
Noor, who is continuously speaking up against injustice. Everyone insulted and scolded her, but she did not remain silent.
They were both regarded burdens by their father until Noor took over her father’s business when he was struck by a dreadful illness.
Nasir takes up the role of a police officer in drama serial “Aakhir kab tak”.
Initially, he accepts bribes from everywhere; subsequently, he abandons all unlawful activities and marries Noor after falling in love at first sight.
The drama serial is a tremendous source of inspiration, especially for our society’s perception as to why girls are labeled non-existent. They enjoy the same rights as males that girls have from birth.
“Aakir kab tak” (until when) should girls tolerate men’s harrassment for the sake of family and community? They have a strong sense of self-worth and honor.
“Aakhir kab tak” inspires us to enjoy every moment of our lives and to speak up whenever anyone tries to mistreat us.
