Solidarity is defined as “a feeling of unity between people who share similar interests or goals.”
It can also be defined as “the connection of oneness or memorandum of understanding between people who work for the betterment of any institute or department.”
No one can defeat us in any field of life if we remain united. Solidarity continues to play an important role in the development of many countries.
Around 400 BC, the Persians decided to conquer their neighbors. Leo Dinas, a Spartan warrior, rebelled against the Persians. Leo Dinas takes three hundred people and fights against more than a thousand Persians, but Leo Dinas still defeats the Persians in two Spartan wars.
We must consider how three hundred people could defeat a thousand. This is the three hundred people’s strong bond.
“When soil is united, a brick is formed; when bricks are united, a wall is formed; when walls are united, a room is formed; when rooms are united, a home is formed; and when homes are united, a village is formed”.
If non-living things can be united, they have the power of solidarity; why can’t we humans be united? We learned from our forefathers that a bundle of sticks cannot be broken by a person, but a single stick can be easily broken by anyone, It means that a bundle of sticks is joined together, and no one can separate or break them. The bundle of sticks therefore must teach everyone a lesson.
As citizens, this is one of the most important responsibilities that we must share for our city, district, division, province, and country to progress.
