The Daydreamer
Sahil was a 23 years old boy who lived in a small village with his family. He was the only child of his parents. His parents were glad to have a son like him. He was an extraordinary guy with dark skin, black hair, and blue eyes.
The village was surrounded by extremely dense green forest. However, there was a wall exactly in the middle of the village. Where all the villagers could get water to drink, to wash their clothes, and to take baths. The only way of survival was to hunt and get food for the families living out there.
Incredibly, it was hard work for them. Hunting was like a gamble for them. Sometimes, they succeed or sometimes not. But still, they had made themselves survive in such harsh conditions.
Sahil was one of the best hunters amongst them. But the only problem with him was that he was a daydreamer.
He always thought about all the things he wanted to have that time. The entire villagers were very upset about this situation. Apart from that, he was a quick learner. Once he saw anything, could learn it quickly.
One day in the afternoon, Sahil was sitting on a rock and dreaming about a beautiful garden. At the same time, he began to talk to himself. “wow! just look at those birds jumping breach to breach, singing beautiful songs which I have never heard before.” He said to himself.
He let the dream continue until it was evening. He was still sitting there and extremely lost in his daydream. After a while, his father passed by. He could see Sahil was completely lost in his daydream. He went closer to him and put his hand on Sahil’s head softly to bring him back into the real world. As he touched his head, he quickly woke up and stood upright there. “What happened to you my son?” His father asked.
“Nothing Dad again the same things. “Daydreaming”.” Answered Sahil with a heavy voice.
“ It’s okay! Son everything will be alright.” His father exclaimed.
“ Uffff… I don’t know when.” Sahil replied.
“ Very soon my son. Nothing remains forever.” His father said.
After having a short conversation, they decided to move towards home.
“Mom! Mom! Mom, where are you.”
Suddenly, I felt that my entire body was getting wet. I opened my eyes and found myself on my bed at home. My mom was standing right there, having a broom in her, and was ready to hit me with it. But instead, he threw away the broom and hugged me. It was the most powerful feeling in the World…
