The Brave Mother
I became happy when my beloved mother gave me money, but it hurt from the core of my heart because she earned the money by bearing multiple hardships and she sews clothes but wanted to educate me.
I had completed my matriculation from a local high school; it was my wish to get higher education in Shall (Quetta) as I had a great love for education.
One day I asked my sweet mother to send me for higher education in Shall (Quetta). My mother became delighted to hear these words from my mouth. My mother exclaimed, “My son I am proud of you since you have a monumental love for education.” Just after these words, I could observe nothing else then the tears crawling down from my innocent mother’s eyes. For a while, I thought that I might say something wrong to my beloved mother. Then I asked my dearest mother about the reason. She said, my son, “what is left to utter?” I brought you up to this stage by sewing clothes even though I was not able enough to get food three times with this small earned money. Now how can I pay money for your education?
The moment was unbearable for me, I wove from that day on and promised to my mother that I would work as a labour and save money for my higher education. My mother was disappointed, for no one would take me for labour, but she was anxiously praying that I should go to Shall (Quetta) to get higher education. I wandered here and there but no one was willing to own me as labour. My dearest mother worked dawn to dusk and when my mother saw my pros-and-cons, she could not bear the situation.
One day, in a sudden my innocent mother called me and assured me that she had gotten the money for my higher education. She gave me some money wrapped in a paper and suggested that I leave for Quetta, with this she also reminded me not to forget her. I became very happy as I felt that day would start a new life for me. After some days I went to Quetta. I remained there for more than five years and focused on my studies as per the suggestion of my lovely mom.
One day I received a message that my brave mother had left the human beings’ world, which shocked me inside since the only hope of mine was my mother. After the death of my mother, the life of mine began to be led in miserable conditions. I had no other source for financial support, but I had to continue my education. For the same reason I worked here and there in my part-time to earn money for my education, and I too completed my education. Now it was possible for me to stand on my own feet. I began to live a new and happy life which was impossible after the mother’s death.
