Ramadan comes having countless blessings within. In this holy month, Muslims around the world get a chance to abolish their sins as Ramadan means the burning of sins.
The month gives a chance to every Muslim to Repent and be clean to start a new way of life. This is also the month to have patience and sustain the hunger to know how a poor Muslim live with no food on normal days.
Allah (SWT) is always merciful and shows his love, kindness, and mercy towards his creatures but in the month of Ramadan, his blessings get multiple. In this month the mercy and blessings of Allah (SWT) descend upon us continuously.
The holy prophet (SAW) stated,
““O People!
“Indeed, the blessed month of Allah has arrived with blessings, mercy, and forgiveness for you. A month that is considered the best of months by Allah. Its days are the best of days, its nights are the best of nights, and its hours are the best of hours. It is a month in which you are invited to be the guests of Allah. In this month you are considered to be people worthy of the grace of Allah. In this month, each breath you take glorifies Allah, your sleep is worship, your deeds are accepted, and your prayers are answered.”
‘Fasting is a shield,’ Allah says.
So, while fasting, a person must avoid things that Allah has directed to be avoided. When fasting, a person should refrain from acting foolishly or fighting, and if someone abuses him or forces him to fight, he should tell him twice, “I am fasting.”
When a person fasts for the sake of Allah, his or her good deeds are multiplied tenfold.
According to Abu Hurairah, the prophet (SAW) said,
“When the month of Ramadan comes, all the doors of the heavens and mercies are opened, but the doors of hell are locked and the devils are chained.”
Moreover, we have the opportunity to get closer to Allah Almighty during this month. Fasting, praying five times, reciting the holy Quran, attending Taraweeh, and remembering Allah are all ways to get closer to him.
During this holy month, the sacred Quran was revealed to the Prophet (SAW) for the guidance of mankind.
It also brings about the Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree or Night of Power, which Allah says is better than thousands of nights.
Ramadan is also a time for Muslims all over the world to come together. Because during this month, we all fast, open our fasts, and pray together. As a matter of fact, we genuinely think that Muslim togetherness is probable.
