Poverty is a curse
The word poverty derived from Latin word pauper means poor. It is one of the major issues in Pakistan where the people are suffering from it. It is one of the most important and sensitive issues not only for Pakistan but for the entire world. Because it is the duty and responsibility of the country to provide fundamental rights like foods, clothing and more. It is rightly said that, “Poverty anywhere is a threat to prosperity everywhere”. It is estimated that nearly 60 per cent of the population of Pakistan lives in villages. According to an analysis, it has increased roughly from 30% to 40% during the past decade. It means that 40 per cent of the country’s population is earning their livelihood below the poverty line. A shopkeeper is ready to get the whole money from the pocket of the customer and people doing jobs are not performing their duties well. Ultimately, it is urgent that the government should try to provide jobs to jobless people as well as take serious action against it as soon as possible in order to protect Pakistan from this horrific issue.
