Polluted water
Hub is one of the most populated cities of Balochistan. However, it is facing multiple challenges. The alarming and life-taking issue of the city is ‘Polluted Water’. In the city, a large number of people are living and earning their livelihood. The problem which they are facing more is water issue. Half of the population is facing undrinkable water, which is not only creating several new diseases but also taking the lives of people who are unable even to get treatment from hospitals after suffering from these incurable diseases.
The city’s need for water is being fulfilled by a dam known as ‘Hub Dam’. Nonetheless, the canal which is being used to provide water to far areas of the city, passes through different forests, deserts, nearly industries which throw their harmful wastes in the very canal which is putting the lives of people in high risk who use the same water to quench their thirst.
In order to save a new generation,
I would like to request the local government to take some necessary precautions.
