After the huge success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor is all ready to work on another project, the big-budgeted mythological ‘Ramayana’.
Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, who last directed Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Bawaal, is reportedly ready to take Ramayana in February.
The directional work of Nitesh Tiwari Ramayana is expected to be shot during the early stage of 2024 and it will hit the big screen in the second half of 2025.
Movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Devi Sita, Yash as Lankesh, Sunny Deol as Bajrang Bali Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, trilogy Ramayana will also feature Vijay Setupathi.
According to the source Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will start shooting for the film around February 2024 while Yash will be joining the team in July, after he completes his next film, “Toxic”.
Ramayana will be made at an extremely large budget of Rs 750 crore.
Superstar Yash, who has found fame with the success of the KGF franchise, with his growing popularity, the actor’s fees have also been going up, as per reports Yash is charging over 150 crore for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
Reportedly Yash’s character will dominate the second part, which will be set in Sri Lanka.
