Lack of water in Gwadar
It is very heartbreaking to mention that the public of Gwadar is suffering from a dearth of water. There isn’t any doubt that it’s not the first time this dilemma is being highlighted. Before uncountable letters and articles were noted down for this issue but unfortunately, yet we didn’t see any actions.
On the other hand, the government has built two new parks recently, sunset and sea view, fixed lights on roadsides, and cultivated date trees. Really it hurts me to raise this question, are these things more essential than water?
In addition, every day on the roads our mothers and sisters with their small children are on strike in this burning weather for a sip of water. But no one is aware of them, including concerned authorities. They are just busy decorating the city. The other side lets the citizens die due to thirst.
At last, it’s my humble plea to the government and the concerned authorities please, take needful action on this old issue to repair the water system in Gwadar. Water is a basic need so it’s more necessary than decoration.
