LAC Conflict
The line of actual control is the demarcation separating Indian controlled territory from Chinese controlled. India claims LAC to be a 3,488 km long strip, while China’s stance is only around 2,000 km long. It is divided into three sectors, the eastern sector which spans Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim, the middle sector is in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, and the western sector in Ladakh. However, it is an ongoing issue that is ultimately developing tension day by day. Recently, the protracted conflict caused a fresh war between the two countries, resulting in several casualties. If such incidents proceed, the two countries would have to face several economic catastrophes and it is corrodible. It is the responsibility of both countries to have mutual consultation and negotiations. It is the responsibility of neighbouring nations to force the countries towards peace talks as it will spread tension in the whole region.
