‘How To Enjoy Your Life And Your Job’ the life-inspiring and motivational book was written by Dale Carnegie, an international author, and was published in 1998 by Vermilion.
It is divided into four parts: the first is about seven ways to peace and happiness, the second is about fundamental techniques in handling people, the third is about ways to win people to your way of thinking, and the last one is about ways to change people without giving offense or arousing resentment.
However, this book is selected for two titles: How to Win Friends and Influence People and How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. It is forwarded by Dorothy Carnegie and is all about the significance of your job and true love.
There was a girl named Edith Allred. She was born into a modern family, but she was very sensitive and shy. Her style of dress and mannerisms were outdated. She never spoke in front of people and was unable to utter a single word to anyone. When she got married, her husband asked her to change, but she refused. She was worried and spent her days aimlessly.
One day, her mother-in-law said that she had taught her children to be free and never to let anyone tell them what to do. This motivated her and she became confident and happy. Despite being a singer, she had never sung because she lacked confidence.Suddenly, one day she went to a night club and took part in singing.
While she was singing, people started laughing, and she felt nervous because people were making fun of her teeth which were too long. When she saw that the people were making fun of her, she left the stage. There was a man who was inspired by her and told her that she was one of the best singers. He said that singing was her job, and she should keep singing, not listen to people, and never give up. Then she was motivated and did so.
Finally, she became successful. I have learned a great lesson that we must not lose our courage. If anyone tells us something, we should ignore them.We must not be afraid of making mistakes because mistakes make us stronger.
