“My name is Hamal.”
“Hamal?”But Your name is Yasir.”
I will be Hamal when I grow up. Then he starts goggling himself amazedly. He could not behold his true existence and leads off to be a stranger from his own eyes. He thought he is Hamal. Once again, he begins to gaze at himself peacefully. He became wide-eye when his eyes fell upon the black thread tied to his right hand. He was entangled because he saw that black thread in the story of Hamal. He was bewildered after seeing the black thread. He stopped reckoning for a moment due to these bizarre scenarios. After a while, once again, he starts giggling at himself. A smile crept over his face when he saw he looks like Hamal. All at once, the black thread plummets down to the ground. He recalled the war. He ensured that he was fighting on the battlefield against barbarity and standing like the mountain of Alburz in front of the cruel king. Blood was flowing like a river under his feet. The ground was strewn with crops and wounded people. kids and women were screaming. The shrilling of impotent women and feeble kids hallowed him with more power and courage. He was dispatching his enemies like a machine. When his enemies saw his courage their’s hands and feet start trembling. All of them fled from the battlefield in a jiffy. He hoists the flag of victory on the battlefield.
All of a sudden, a crow of a rooster awaken him. When he opened his eyes there was silence all around him. His body went numbed. The rays of sun came horizontally across the rooftop of his room and his face sparkled like a light. He put his hands on his face and uttered UFF! It was a dream.
Last night, Yasir read the story of Hamal before going to bed. Hamal was a well-known warrior who fought for helpless people when they were in the lurch. He revolted against the fiendish king, Saleman.
This is the story.
Saleman was the king of Chahan. He coveted to engross Adamistan as well. Soon he prepared a large army to capture Adamistan. He chose Hamal to be the commander of his army. Hamal fought bravely with his warriors and defeated the king of Adamistan after two months. Saleman sat on the regal throne of Adamistan. He introduced many changes in Adamistan and made his charter. He divided Adamistan into four provinces and sent a governor to every Province. He elected Hamal to be his minister and governor of Nokabad as well.
One evening, Hamal left his home to visit Nokabad. He looked around him and saw it was beautiful and fetching all around. There was blue, there was yellow, there was green, sky, and river, woods and mountains, all beautiful and enchanting. When he saw the people of Nokabad he observed their’s lives seem blackish because of being deprived of education. When he went back to his home he was overwhelmed by many thoughts. He had begun to feel the seeds of discontent within him. The next day, he left for king Saleman early in the morning. When he reached there, he asked Saleman to Let him provide education, wisdom, and knowledge to the people of Nokabad. Saleman blenched as he heard these words. His face went red within no time. He thought if they get knowledge and wisdom they would not obey him. They would ask him about their’s right too. He differed with Hamal’s verdict and ordered him to ignore the people of Nokabad and leave them to their fate. Hamal became balky and restless when he came back to Nokabad. Once again restless thought came flowing to him. He had begun to feel this ministry would not always make him happy, give him peace, satisfy and suffice him until he would not bless the people of Nokabad with education. When these thoughts passed through his mind, he decided to provide education, wisdom,m, and knowledge to NokabadianHe decided to revolt against the decision of Saleman. He counseled the people of Nokabad to keep this a secret, knowing that when it was discovered by the king he would destroy them. He mentored Nokabadian the way of Knowledge.
Saleman became blue in the face when he came to know about the secret mission of Hamal. The next day, he dropped in Nokabad and espied a ray of covetousness and furor in the eyes of Nokabadian for him. He thought Hamal betrayed and threw dust into his eyes by not obeying his order. He told his people to ruin the school and enunciate in Nokabad if anyone strives to get an education who would be punished and banish from Nokabad. He expelled Hamal from ministry.
Hamal became glum and gloomy. He falls into the deep sea of thoughts and asked himself why he should fear death? Everyone has to die someday. He strived to solace him. This reflection became a persistent sign of struggle and revolution for him against Saleman the King. He went out to fight with Saleman but soon he was captured and imprisoned by the army of Saleman. Yet he did not stop and called Saleman an atrocious. Saleman’s face went red he told his thralls to punish and afflict him till his last breath. They hanged him from a tree, torture and slashed his body. His shrilling awakens the birds of the jungle and blood poured down from his body on earth. Hamal could not breathe more and he succumbed on the breast of Nokabad.
Yasir Was weighed down and yet he had not moved from his bed. He inhaled deeply and moved in front of the mirror. He began to gape himself in the mirror. He noticed that he is not Hamal but Yasir. He did not see the black thread which was tied to his hand in the dream. At last, he saw, Yasir was standing in the mirror.
