37th installment of Toho International’s monster franchise, ‘Godzilla Minus One,’ has released a action-packed trailer. The second official trailer shows that the iconic kaiju is into post-war Japan, where chaos and rebuilding collide in a visually stunning venture.
The latest sequel is written and directed by renowned CG animator and VFX artist Takashi Yamazaki who is well-known for his previous works like ‘Lupin III: The First’ and ‘The Great War of Archimedes’.
‘Godzilla Minus One’ stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki, with music by Naoki Sato.
This much-awaited movie takes us back into Godzilla’s world. Set in post-World War II Japan, the monster’s return sparks fear and challenges the country’s resilience, leading to a gripping battle for survival.
Yamazaki’s third depiction of Godzilla merges technology and practical effects, reportedly using both CG imagery and practical design.
The film’s PG-13 rating suggests intense creature violence and action.
‘Godzilla Minus One,’ hits US theaters on December 1, also offering early fan event screenings in selected premium large format theaters on November 29.
