Expensive books
It is conventional wisdom that books play a drastic role in the development and advancement of a nation. They are a source to improve one’s knowledge and they are considered the ocean of knowledge. Furthermore, they are the only tools to bring extraordinary consequences for a reader. But unfortunately, in Pakistan books are sold at very high prices and many poor people cannot buy important books to continue their studies. I myself am a candidate and I was assigned in my centre to read “The forty rules of love”. When I went to the book stationary and asked the price of the book that cost 400 rupees. Then I was shocked and I was unable to buy that. Apart from me and many other poor students are suffering from this sensitive problem. So, it is my suggestion the government should take measures to decrease the prices of the books that students can afford.
