Uthal is a city in Lasbela District, Baluchistan. Uthal is the headquarters of Uthal Tehsil along with an administrative subdivision of the district. According to the 2017 census, the total population of Uthal Tehsil is 29414.
In this modern age, electricity has become almost an acute demand for the survival of life in this world. Without it, every sector of life gets paused. electricity also plays a vital role in the growth of the economy and the betterment of any region.
Uthal is an arid place where during the summer season, the temperature increases at its peak, and the absence of lights makes it worse to live. People who are living in Uthal are facing long hours of load shedding problems.
The electricity maintenance and load shedding process also take place three days a week from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. Due to long-lasting load shedding, every sector is suffering adversely as people can’t sleep properly and are mentally disturbed. Especially, a student who can not study well and become unable to focus.
Therefore, it is requested to the government of Baluchistan do consider this concerning issue and take serious steps for a long-term solution to the electricity dilemma in Uthal city.
