Elizabeth Gilbert wrote the book Eat, Pray, Love, which was published in 2006 and is a true account of her life. It is based on pleasure, spirituality, and adventure.
The author belonged to America. Elizabeth was dissatisfied with her marriage as a result got a divorce from her husband. She was depressed all the time as a result of her unhappy marriage. She searched for meaning in her life and questioned herself, as she had no idea what to do or where to go. She simply knew that she needed to get away from the issues that were plaguing her life daily. So she resolved to go to other places and make herself happy to live a quiet life.
Her first trip was to Italy. Elizabeth desired to learn the Italian language since it gave her joy and satisfaction when she spoke it. She got so content with her life that she began to consume different sorts of meals whenever she desired.
In Italy, she had adventure and pleasure from eating. She enjoyed the story of how she lived in Italy and spent her time trying new cuisines and having adventures while eating.
She also adored the way she lived in India in the book. She lived at an ashram in India, where she got near to God and meditated. She wrote the book in such a wonderful style that the reader immediately connects with the boo. Her book is full of tragedies, experiences, and struggles. The way she passed several months at the ashram in India and turned the difficult times into adventures was the most beautiful section of the book, and meanwhile, in Italy, she passed the months by exploring the Italian foods.
This book is both encouraging and enjoyable to read. After reading this book, I realized the significance of meals and prayers. They are both vital components of existence. Life without love and affection is like a body without a soul. Love is extremely important in every individual’s life since it is what makes life liveable. As a result, Eat Pray Love is the most essential component of every individual’s existence. Life would surely be meaningless without it.
