DRUG ADDICTION IN PAKISTAN
One of the most significant challenges is drug addiction. It is the most harmful problem in our culture because it is ruining the youth of our country. A lot of problems have arisen as a result of drug addiction. When drug abusers grow used to ingesting it, they are unable to quit. Even drug addicts commit crimes in order to get narcotics.
In Pakistan, there are 7.6 million drug users, with men accounting for 78 percent and females accounting for 22 percent. The most worrisome truth in Pakistan is drug addiction, and the majority of drug users are under the age of 24.
Addiction has an impact not only on their lives but also on their family. Drug addiction has ramifications for the addict’s mental health, including depression, stress, anxiety, and a variety of other issues. It also contributes to cardiac troubles. Addiction to drugs may potentially lead to a heart attack.
Drug abusers are completely reliant on substances. Allah created us to be noble beings, but we have degraded ourselves to the level of animals. Drug addicts die in terrible conditions on the roadways. They damage their whole family as a result of this addiction.
Drug addiction has been linked to a slew of negative outcomes, therefore it’s critical that it must be phased out. There is only one method to overcome drug addiction, and that is via the use of a rehabilitation clinic. We must transport individuals who are hooked to drugs to a rehabilitation clinic. One of the greatest methods to quit using it is to go to a rehabilitation clinic.
The government should also take initiatives that may bring about improvements in our culture, and these kind of drugs should be prohibited. If they outlaw drugs, it will be simpler to cease using them.
