I am from the district of Awaran which is completely lagging behind in the regards to development and “modern technological advancements”. There is lack of basic facilities, such as quality of education, availability of clean and safe water, libraries, hospitals, roads and other infrastructures. There is no denying that education plays a vital role in the advancement of a nation, but there is no such premise seen in Awaran.
Unemployment rate is so high that people are forced to live below the poverty line. Moreover, instead of pen, books and notebooks, children of farmers and poor people have to carry hammer and shovels. Aside from that, scarcity of the water is a major issue in the Awaran district. In this technological age, the people of Awaran continue to live miserable lives with no hope for a better future. They travel a long distance with a rope and a bucket to retrieve water.
The current condition of Awaran demonstrates that government authorities and corrupt politicians have failed to provide any relief to the people of Awaran.
