“American Nightmare” Season 1 is a three-part docuseries available for streaming on Netflix since its release on January 17, 2024.
The series revisits the 2015’s horrific home invasion and kidnapping of Denise Huskins in Vallejo, California, and the subsequent suspicions raised by authorities when Denise reappeared at her childhood home two days later.

The true crime series ‘American Nightmare’ has debuted at number 1 on Netflix as per official data released by Netflix for the week January 15 to 21st.
The series sees Denise Huskins, Matthew Muller, Amy Morton, Aaron Quinn, Dan Russo, Mike Huskins, and Jane Huskin featured in 3-episodes long format.
Created by The Tinder Swindler filmmakers, the show has gained high viewership, debuting at No. 1 on Netflix’s English TV chart after its premiere on Jan 17.
The 16+ rated series reached 21.4 million views and 48.1 hours viewed during the Jan. 15-21 viewing window. Netflix has already ordered two more shows, “Missing You” and “Run Away,” both adaptations from the same author of , Harlan Coben.

The series has received positive reviews, at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes from 17 critics reviews.
