Cancer on the rise in Pakistan
It upsets to see that the ratio of cancer patients is rapidly expanding every passing day. As a result of, incurable disease myriads of lives are lost in the country. According to a recent study, Which was conducted by the Dow University Of Health Science cancer is escalating across the land. Sadly, the highest ratio of the patients is present in the biggest city of Pakistan which is a serious problem. Further, the reasons for a hefty rise of contagion patients is the usage of tobacco products and using unhealthy foods. As the study indicates, from 2010 to 2019 most of the people affected with this fatal disease have died. Its cases around 60 per cent were diagnosed in women as compared to men. On the other hand, The most common cancer among women is breast cancer while in men it is oral venom. As researchers mentioned, The cause of oral disease which affects those who consume tobacco products daily. Likewise, paan, gutka and snuff. A separate survey conducted, by the Pakistan Institute of Medical Science this uncontrollable disease is the second leading of death and the first is being heart disease. As a survey defines, that every year around 148,000 toxic cases are reported in the country. Moreover, Because of poor environmental conditions with dilapidated health care system also reason for poison in Pakistan. Lack of basic facilities, Is also one of the cases of toxicant which is accelerating day by day in the nation.
Thus, It is humbly requested to Prime Minister Imran Khan to take serious steps and provide fundamental facilities which are required for the treatment of cancer patients.
