The 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards nominations were announced on January 18, 2024. The awards ceremony will be hosted by David Tennant on February 18 and will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer.
A total of 38 films received nominations. The film “Oppenheimer” leads with 13 nominations, followed by “Poor Things” with 11 nominations.
Other films with multiple nominations include “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “The Zone of Interest” with nine nominations each.
In the Best Director category, four out of six nominees are first-time director nominees.
The voting process involves three rounds: Longlisting, Nominations, and Winners, with over 7,800 voting members. Longlisting was already done and now the final nominations are out.
The winners will be announced on February 18 from the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London.
