“Oppenheimer” dominated the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, securing eight awards including Best Picture, Best Director (Christopher Nolan), and Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.).
“Barbie” also had a strong showing with six wins, including Best Comedy and Best Song (“I’m Just Ken”).
In the acting categories, Emma Stone won Best Actress for “Poor Things,” and Paul Giamatti took home Best Actor for “The Holdovers.”
The television side saw victories for “The Bear“, “Succession” and “Beef” with multiple awards for each and winning Best Comedy Series, Drama Series, and Limited Series, respectively.
Notable mentions include Harrison Ford receiving the career achievement award, and America Ferrera being honored with the SeeHer Award.
Chelsea Handler hosted the ceremony, which was broadcast live on the CW and held at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar.
